Meet Sandy Rodgers
Co-Teacher
Sandy has been married to her husband, Jacob, for 18 years, and together they have two children. She serves as a K4 teacher at Emmanuel Christian School, where she enjoys investing in the lives of young students each day. At Emmanuel Baptist Church, Sandy faithfully serves in several areas, including the nursery, helping in the kitchen on Wednesday nights, and teaching a Life Group. She is passionate about helping little ones learn about their Savior and loves teaching them the Word of God. In her free time, Sandy enjoys shopping and relaxing on the beach, as well as camping and spending quality time with friends and family.

Meet Melanie Long
Co-Teacher
Melanie has been married to her husband, Bill, for 25 years, and together they are raising five children. She is a dedicated stay-at-home mom who previously worked in the healthcare field. At Emmanuel Baptist Church, Melanie serves in several areas, including as a co-teacher for the 4K–1st grade Life Group, the Operation Christmas Child coordinator, a nursery volunteer, a choir member, and part of the welcome committee team. She especially enjoys working with young children and appreciates the opportunity to serve alongside and learn from her co-teacher, Sandy Rodgers. In her free time, Melanie enjoys spending time with family and friends and has developed a growing interest in caring for plants.

Meet Kimberly "Kim" Neal
Co-Teacher
Kimberly has been married to her husband, Nathan, for 20 years this March, and together they are raising seven children. For 15 years, Kim dedicated herself to being a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom, and she now serves as a teacher’s aide at Emmanuel Christian School, where she has worked for the past few years. At Emmanuel Baptist Church, Kim serves alongside Nathan in children’s church and leads the AWANA Cubbies on Wednesday nights. She is passionate about teaching and finds great joy in the children she gets to spend time with each week. Outside of church and school, Kim enjoys caring for their animals—especially their goats and pigs—which bring a lot of fun and laughter to their family life.
