Ladies Adult Life Group

"And to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you,  so that you will behave properly toward outsiders and not be in any need.

1 Thessalonians 4:11 - 12

Who We Are

Our Purpose

Ladies Christian Fellowship is a group of women who come together each week to grow in faith, friendship, and encouragement. We would describe our class as loving, giving, caring, and prayerful—with a genuine love for laughing together along the way. Our group values authentic relationships and strives to create a welcoming environment where women can share life, support one another, and grow stronger in their walk with Christ.
Our desire is to live out the truth of 1 Thessalonians 4:11–12, making it our ambition to lead faithful, Christ-honoring lives. We seek to grow in spiritual maturity, serve with humble hearts, and reflect Christ well to those around us. Through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship, we aim to strengthen one another so that our lives are rooted in faith, lived with purpose, and marked by integrity.

What to Expect

Each Sunday, you can expect meaningful Bible study, heartfelt prayer, and warm fellowship. Our time together often includes thoughtful discussion, encouragement through Scripture, and plenty of laughter as we enjoy one another’s company. Whether you are looking for deeper spiritual growth, supportive friendships, or a place to belong, Ladies Christian Fellowship is a group where you can be encouraged and uplifted.

Life Group Leaders

Meet Candy Radcliff

Co-Teacher
Candy has been married to her husband, Mark, for 50 years, and they have two children. She retired after a career with both the Post Office and the IRS. At Emmanuel Baptist Church, Candy serves as a Life Group teacher for Christian Fellowship and is actively involved in VBS and Judgement House ministries. Outside the church, she also serves as treasurer for a local chapter of the Embroiders’ Guild of America. Candy is passionate about teaching because she finds herself learning just as much—if not more—than her students. In her free time, she enjoys cross-stitch, crochet, and cooking.

Meet Carmen Radin

Co-Teacher
Carmen has been married to her husband, Ben, for almost 65 years, and together they have five grown children and many grandchildren. She spent her career teaching in Christian schools, including many years at Emmanuel Christian School. Here at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Carmen serves as a co-teacher for the Christian Fellowship Life Group and occasionally leads Bible studies. She has also been involved with the Good News Club in Hartsville schools. Carmen is passionate about God’s Word and loves digging into Scripture to discover new truths and fresh ways to share the gospel. While she no longer pursues many hobbies, she once enjoyed skiing, volleyball, and other sports. She has a special love for missionaries and a tender heart for widows, especially those within the EBC family.
